You Can Surrender

Happy New Year to you beloved. I’m glad you made it. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me πŸ™‚

“…brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at His feet behind him weeping, and began to wash His feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed His feet, and anointed them with the ointment.” Luke 7:37-38

Have you done your share of fussing over a new yew resolution? I have, I did a lot of fussing, till I realised it was all about my plans and me and less of what God wanted for me. Have you made your own plans or have you decided this new year to stay aligned to the will of your Father? Let the striving fade and just look up with arms stretched out in complete surrender to your Father who delights in you beloved.

Dear Sister, surrender is not laziness I learnt, it’s diligence. Obedience is better than sacrifice, obey every instruction God gives you this year. Let nothing take your eyes away from your Beloved, your service to Him is worship, let the melody of God’s peaceful presence flow from within you. Don’t be afraid to wait on God before making those decisions this year, just follow Christ with each breath and step.

” Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and wee-pleasing to God, which is your rational(logical and intelligent) act of worship” Romans 12:1

P.s: Thank you Father, You make all things new. I receive grace to lean on You this year and trust You all the way, thank You for the Holy Spirit who leads me, guides me and helps me to do Your will alone. There’s no confusing moment with You. Thank you because You delight in me and my time with you. I cling to You my precious delight. Amen.

Each post has been a blessing to me, I’ll like to hear how it has blessed you too πŸ™‚
